New Business
File #W2002-33 – Application for a Wetlands Permit for activity within the Upland
Review Area located at 24 Liska Road (Map 32, Lot 7-06) for construction of an
attached mudroom and attached 25’ x 28’ garage. Owner/Applicant: Mark & Nora
Jones. (Received 7/22/02, Hearing or Decision by 9/9/02.)
The consensus of the Commission was that a site walk was appropriate, and scheduled one for 6:00 p.m. on September 9. uThe application was tabled until September 9. Schreiber asked the applicant to stake out areas 100 ft. from the edge of the wetland. Mr. Jones indicated that the map was provided by Datum Engineering.

Review Area located off Rt. 32, 681 River Road (Map 47, Lot 2, Lot Division). John
Rivers applicant, Jean Rivers owner. (Received on 6/24/02, No Decision before
7/8/02, Hearing or Decision by 7/22/02.)
Schreiber said the Commission has walked this property.
Steve Filip of Filip Associates said he had discussed a conservation easement with his
client, who didn’t understand why it was needed. Mr. Filip requested a 35-day extension so the Commission would have time to review the application. The applicant will be informed of this.
File #2002-22 – Application for a 3-Lot Subdivision located off Latham Road (Map 9, Lot 32, 24.60 acres. Michael Nogas, owner/applicant. (Received on 5/13/02, No
Decision before 5/27/02, 30-day extension requested and approved. Decision by
7/22/02.)
Mr. Pelletier explained how his plans were changed to add substantial conservation easements. In answer to questions from the Commission, Mr. Pelletier showed specific areas on the map where suggestions have been implemented.
MOTION: To approve Application #W2002-22 with map dated July 11, 2002,
with the stipulation that driveway construction include silt fence
installation and that construction does not occur between June 1 and
July 1.
